Therapies & Classes

Payment

We accept cash or e-transfer.

Massage Etiquette

We ask that you arrive clean and on time and that you respect your therapist's boundaries.  If you are satisfied with your treatment,  you can opt to tip your therapist.

Cancellation Policy for Therapies

We understand that life happens, however, we ask you to be courteous.  Out of respect for clients and the practitioner, we ask that you please provide a minimum of 24 hrs' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment to avoid being fully charged. This allows other clients the opportunity to book in your place while showing consideration for the therapist's time. If an emergency arises please let us know ASAP.

Attire

For therapies, please consider the fact that you will have oil applied to your body.  Most of the oil will be absorbed however, we don't recommend that you wear your finest clothes as there might be a residue.  For yoga & energy gatherings, wear comfortable, stretchy, clothing.  We focus on the health and spiritual benefits of yoga and are not concerned with labels. :)

Nutritional Consultations

Please bring a full list of any medications you are taking--pharmaceutical and natural--as well as a food diary.  Please contact us for instructions.

Wifi is available throughout the retreat property, however, we invite you to disconnect to gain the full benefit of our retreat offerings.  There is free time each day to check in with family and friends.

The balance owing is due 14 days before arrival.   As we do not wish to create any uncomfortable situations, please ensure you are certain about your travel plans prior to confirming attendance.  Due to the nature and costs of operating our centre, we cannot issue refunds.  If you find it absolutely impossible to attend, we will issue you a nonrefundable credit toward a future Journey Within stay or program. Credit may be applied to any program or stay for one year following the date of issue.

To foster an intimate gathering we limit retreats to a maximum of 6 participants.  Please book asap to avoid disappointment.

Yoga

We believe that yoga is much more than simply asana.  We live by yogic teachings and run our centre accordingly.  We are open to everyone.  What this means is that everyone is welcome here regardless of race, religion, or gender identification.  We expect all participants to be kind, open and respectful of one another, and our space.  Asana and meditation are offered daily and are beneficial to all regardless of experience.

Free Time

While the focus of the retreat will be providing you with the tools you need in your life to thrive, you will have free time each afternoon before dinner as well as free time after 8 pm each evening. Guests can opt to add a couple of extra days to their stay to explore the surrounding area, please contact us for pricing.

Emotional Release

You are in a safe space.  Our retreats encourage release as bodywork, yoga and journaling tend to release blocked emotions that we have stored in our muscles.  Everyone coming to our retreats is coming for the same reason. You are in a judgment-free zone.

Customized Private Retreats

If life is weighing you down and you need a few days to renew and retreat we can help.  While we offer the finest in body therapies, we are so much more than a spa.  We offer life coaching, natural therapies, yoga, meditation, spiritual & holistic teachings as well as certifications in numerous holistic modalities. We can accommodate you whether you wish to come on your own or create a retreat for your group.  Please contact us to create your dream retreat.

Alcohol, Smoking & Vaping

We are a health-oriented retreat.  We ask that you do not smoke or vape on the property and alcohol is not permitted. We recognize that many guests are now being prescribed medical marijuana.  We honour your choice to use natural medications but ask you to be sensitive to others staying on the property by not smoking indoors and away from common areas outside.
